About me

Enrico Pandrin.

Pyrgos, Peloponnese – Greece [2017]
1990 class, I was born in a small town in the north of Italy. Actually I am a researcher on wildfires, with a bachelor degree in Civil Engineering.

Since childhood I am deep in love with nature and discovery, trying to live outdoor every moment of the day (and night).

Affected by some hyperactivity problem I found in the bicycle an efficient and effective way to move. From the daily shopping(??) to the pub with friends, passing through the gravel road to University, it is always the time to put my back on the saddle.

Bicycle allows me to keep an extremely deep contact with the surrounding environment: feeling the rain, the cold,  the sun, the wind…

I really like the wind.

I started seeing the bike as a travel companion in 2013 when I left for my first trip between Austria and Slovenia. Since there, many things changed and every  trip let me discover new places and cultures.

Sharing my experiences and my wanderings I can express myself, remembering whose , before me, with patience and love, inspired me.

In the last year I started reporting my adventures through a FujiFilm X100T with a 35 mm fixed lens, trying to “mettre sur la même ligne de mire la tête, l’oeil et le coeur”.

I hope that this blog could inspire people to discover the world drop by drop, being less tourist , more traveller.

The way to Þórsmörk – Iceland [2017]
“It was quite beautiful. I don’t know why but I felt I just had to do it, to share it.”
